Supplies Needed for Halloween Bingo

Here are the supplies you'll need to get started:

  • White Paper or Cardstock
  • Bingo Markers – see below for some marker options
  • Optional – Self Laminating Sheets

If you want to reuse your bingo cards every year, we recommend laminating them. This will help preserve their quality and ensure they last for many Halloween seasons to come. If you choose not to laminate the cards and prefer to print them in black and white, Do-A-Dot markers are a great option for this activity.

How to Set-Up Halloween Bingo

Follow these steps to set up and play Halloween Bingo:

  1. First, print off the calling cards and bingo cards (link to the free printable below).
  2. Cut out the calling cards and place them in a bowl or jar for selecting.
  3. Cut out the bingo cards. Each player gets one bingo card. If you have more than 10 players, you can put kids into small groups to play together.
  4. Use candy or non-candy items as markers. When an image is called out, the player puts a marker on that image.
  5. When calling out the images, you can describe the image or show the picture. If you're printing in black and white, you may need to give more clues about the details of similar images. For example, if there are 2 haunted houses, you can say “the purple haunted house” or “the green haunted house.” There are also a few bat pictures, so you'll need to state how many bats. This is also a fun way to practice counting!
  6. You can play for a line (5 in a row) or a full card. The first person to get a line says “Bingo!” You can keep playing afterward for more lines if you have more prizes to give out.

How Can I Play With More People?

The free printable includes 10 unique cards. If you have more than 10 players, you can break them up into small groups and have each group play with 2-3 players.

How to Print the Bingo Cards

Before printing, make sure to review the Print Preview. Every printer is different, so select “Print to Fit to Size” or adjust the printer Scale Features (you can print at 90% scale) in your printer settings to ensure the cards are not cut off.
