Putting Your DIY Treat Bags Together
Here's a quick and easy guide to assembling your DIY Halloween Treat Bags:
- Cut out each bag template. A paper cutter can make this task easier.
- Fold one part of the rectangle towards the middle, and repeat with the other part, ensuring they overlap slightly. Make sure to fold and crease the edges.
- Open the paper flat with the design side down. Use a craft tape runner along the bottom edge and fold over the left side.
- Run tape along the middle, on top of the side you folded over.
- Fold over the right side on top. And voila – you have a bag!
- Fill it with treats and glue the top shut (you may also leave the top open). Now you have your very own treat bags that are loads of fun!
What to Fill Your Treat Bags With
Since these are mini-sized treat bags, I recommend using small candies or bite-sized treats. Each bag comfortably holds 2-3 small candies. Non-candy goodies are also great options as long as they're small. Here are some suggestions to fill these cute bags:
