These printable treat boxes are not only fun to create but also exciting to fill with delicious treats. Whether you're hosting a Halloween party or going out for a night of trick-or-treating, these boxes are perfect for the occasion.
Like all our templates and coloring pages, these treat boxes have been lovingly hand-drawn and designed. Our playful bat character, which can also be found as a puppet and a standalone coloring page in the Arty Crafty Kids members area, adds a dash of whimsy to these boxes.
How to Make the Printable Halloween Treat Boxes:
What You Need:
- Treat Box Printables
- White Cardstock or Heavy Good Quality Paper
- Coloring Pens/Pencils or Crayons
- Glue Stick
- Scissors
- Tricks or Treats
The Printable Halloween Treat Boxes are exclusively available to members of the Arty Crafty Kids club. You can access the templates by logging into your account. Don't worry if you're not a member yet, you can become one today and enjoy a wide range of crafty activities.
Printing Instructions:
- Download and print the templates from the Arty Crafty Kids members area.
- The templates can be printed on good quality paper or cardstock.
- If you choose cardstock, make sure to check your printer settings for the recommended weight. Most printers prefer cardstock less than 220gsm.
Assembling the Halloween Treat Boxes:
Start with the Long Dotted Lines:
- Familiarize yourself with the fold lines, which are the white dotted lines shown above.
- Turn the template over and fold along the first dotted line, working towards the inside of the box. Gently run your finger across the line with each fold.
- Continue folding until you reach the short strip where the glue will be applied.
Fold the Card Around to Form the Box:
- Fold the box round to ensure each line has been folded correctly.
Do Not Secure Yet!
Folding the Treat Box Lid:
- Fold the lid pieces towards the inside of the box.
- Fold the worded semi-circles towards the printed part of the lid.
Assemble the Printable Halloween Treat Box:
- Apply lots of glue to the short strip and fold the box around to secure it.
- Fill the treat boxes with your favorite spooky treats or tricks. Let your imagination run wild!
- Fold the lid pieces in and secure the worded semi-circles with glue to seal the box.
