Are you ready to get crafty this Halloween? Look no further! Shill Art presents a free printable paper cat template that will allow you to build your very own spooky feline friend. A few years ago, I introduced my adorable and chubby roly-poly Halloween characters, which have since been featured in various Halloween printables. This set includes an array of delightful characters such as bats, black cats, Lil' Devils, Dracula, Frankenstein, ghosts, pumpkins, werewolves, and witches.

Due to popular demand, I've decided to turn these lovable characters into buildable templates, just like my beloved Build-An-Animal series. And guess what? These Halloween characters now have names too!

Allow me to introduce you to – Cosmo the Cat! These cute chubby creatures are anthropomorphic, meaning they possess human traits, like standing on two legs rather than four. Of course, they are far from realistic because cuteness is my top priority when creating characters for my printables!

As always, these printables come in two paper sizes – A4 and US Letter (8.5″ x 11″). I've designed two sizes for this particular paper cat template. The Regular size features all the pieces on one sheet of paper, while the Large size spreads the pieces across several sheets, as seen in the photo below.

Since I always aim to create characters using simple shapes, cutting out these printables should be less fiddly than my Build-an-Olaf series. The regular size printable is ideal for adults or more skilled children, while the large size is perfect for younger kids or if you prefer to cut the pieces out for them. Ultimately, you know your children best, so choose what works for them!

To get started, simply download your chosen printable from the list below (you'll find them surrounded by a box) and print it on thick paper or thin cardstock. Next, cut out the pieces and let the creativity flow as you build your very own Halloween cat!

Feel free to use a glue stick, roller glue, or sticky tape to assemble your cat. You can even mount it onto a larger piece of paper and use various craft materials to bring it to life. Think furry material, glitter, googly eyes, sequins, buttons, tissue paper, and more! If you want to enjoy this craft again and again, you can laminate the pieces for easy re-assembly. Above all, remember to have fun with this printable!
